Linux Systems Programming at UCSC-Extension

I am taking a Linux Systems Programming course at UCSC-Extension in Santa Clara taught by Mr. Raghav Vinjamuri. I am loving the course and the stuff I have been learning is phenomenal. Working on Linux platform for so long, I am surprised that I didn't bother to learn its internals and don't know so many things about programming on it.

There is a classroom version and an online version of this course. I did online one in Fall 2011 and am currently repeating the classroom version in Winter 2012. I would definitely vouch for the classroom version, but with enough motivation one can learn as much in the online version as well. The instructor is just too good and knows his stuff inside out.

Every now and then, I intend to post my personal notes and some class examples on this blog. Its an exercise for me to get better grasp of the topic because "If I can't explain it simply, I didn't understand it well enough".
